Privacy policy
TopSolid Wiki Backup is a private, owner-operated utility for backing up the owner's V6 and V7 wiki installations to their own Google Drive. This page describes how Google account authorization and backup information are used.
Data accessed
With the owner's consent, the utility uses Google Drive's drive.file permission to create, read, update and delete files the application itself creates or is explicitly granted access to. It processes wiki backup archives and relevant file metadata, such as file names, checksums and upload status. OAuth credentials and tokens used for authorization are held in the owner's local backup environment.
Purpose and storage
Access is used only to deliver, verify and manage backup copies in the owner's Google Drive. The protected wiki content is not published through this information website. The backup configuration and retention policy are managed by the owner. Google's own storage and security practices also apply to data stored on Google Drive.
Sharing and advertising
The operator does not sell Google user data and does not use it for advertising. The utility does not intentionally share backup data with unrelated third parties. Data is handled by Google Drive as the selected storage provider.
Revoking access and deleting data
The owner can revoke Google OAuth access in their Google Account connections. Revoking access stops further authorized Drive operations but does not automatically delete existing backup files. Those may be deleted by the owner from Google Drive or according to the configured backup retention procedure.
Website analytics and cookies
This public information site does not itself include analytics scripts, advertising trackers or sign-in cookies. Hosting and network providers may process standard connection metadata under their own terms.
Contact
Privacy requests can be directed to the application owner using the support contact shown on the Google OAuth consent screen. This utility is privately managed and is not an official TopSolid product.
